I appreciate the time you took to write your thoughts on my decision! I chuckled when I read how you changed jobs on maternity leave... that's similar to how I ended up living here in the first place! I came up to the northern part of the state for a wedding, and just never went back.

I agree that working at home is not easy, or a free ride in any way. Fortunately I live in a very quiet apartment, and have very little to distract me here... one reason I think I'd work better here. My phone rarely rings, as I prefer to email. And that has never been a problem. And I'm hoping that just being here would help me get at least SOME housework done. As it stands now, the dishes sit in the sink all week 'til Saturday, when I finally have time to wash them. I do no housework during the week because I'm either getting ready for work, going to work, working, or too tired after work! Plus I hate housework, anyway. The laundry room is right outside my window, and being here during the day would give me first dibs on one of our paltry TWO washers for this whole building. With no kids and no hubby, I don't have to divide my work time with family time. So, currently I'm leaning in favor of making the big jump, but will probably at least wait until I've taken my paid vacation! Haha
