It is great that you reflected what I, in my heart feel. I am very frightened of Cobra, and I was going to look at the dates to see if I could just call the docs, explain and get the 3 MO supply. It is true that 2 F/T jobs are already straining on me, and I did not even want to think of the holidays. Now I know why. The gal below suggested Humana, so now I have 2 viable options, the meds, and the Humana. I am so glad I have you all and this board. Being an MT at home, it is hard to talk to people who understand these kinds of things and you all really put me on the right path. My family and I thank you tons!

I happened upon this topic in searching Google for "doctors lie", because I am literally dying from 10 years of layer upon layer of lies by the medical profession.
I was not surprised to see an RN validating what has to be the most dangerous and widespread hypocrisy in which MD's engage as if it is routine.. and it IS routine.
How do they get away with it?! The almighty 'White Wall of Silence', the unwritten code by which they all abide. They are fully aware that if they all adhere to the same despicable code, their misdeeds will never be held up to scrutiny by their peers.
I was sued by a surgeon for publishing my post operative photos online after trying for an entire year to get some honest answers regarding a disastrous facial surgery. That was over 5 years ago and my photos are still online, the Court instructing me to remove all misleading photos from the Internet. I had them examined by a certified legal photographer who verified they were "unmanipulated" but one would think the doctor's life would have been much easier if he had only admitted he was wrong! I offered to sign anything he wanted absolving him from legal accountability if he just TOLD THE TRUTH. Instead, he had his barracuda attorneys chew me up and spit me out.
In the end, his failure to be truthful and instead turn on me and attack with the most unscrupulous character assassination imaginable, created a foundation for other doctors to layer lie upon lie, subjecting me to further medical negligence.
I have reached the point where I would rather die than ever allow another doctor to touch me again, and I vow I will never seek medical treatment for any medical condition, including broken bones, for which I would feel more confident seeking treatment from a veterinarian than an MD.
This, from a woman who lived and worked with a GP for 12 years and revered the medical profession.

New E-mail validation system and why we have implemented it.
Due to increasing problem posters, we have moved to implement a new e-mail validation system, which will make visitors accountable for the content of their posts.
There is absolutely no censorship involved and visitors can post what they wish, however, if posts are inappropriate that posters profile wll be removed and further posting will no longer be allowed.
Further, MTStars does not sell email addresses as one poster has alluded to. We simply want a kind place for MTs to post.
