I have notes (on monitor and elsewhere), white boards, email files, Expander notes ... it's just that there are so many little goofy things that it ends up being overkill and too time consuming to look or even make notes on some of it. If I do all the accounts regularly, I can keep the extras in my head, but after a few weeks of not having one or two of them ... I can't remember. Or, something unique only comes up every now and then.
These are all good ideas (and I basically use them all except an Excel file). I guess I will just keep on keeping on. I probably should re-read everything when I realize a couple of weeks has gone by of not doing an account, but I do enough other extras for work in my off time, so I have trouble making myself bother.
