I did it the hard way, no written essays, traveled to 3 states for meetings, arranged whole day seminars at hotels offering CME's all day. No hospital will recognize CME's as not "classroom learning." Honestly, I can't stand the ignorance. Applied online - recruiter's E-mail stated I would "here" from her - refused the job. Jeez!
