I posted this question on another board and got the following response (in pertinent part). Thought you might be interested.
Pedals can be wired to send signals from a number of pin combinations and software can be written to look for signals from a number of pin combinations. Only if the pins being connected when you step on a pedal switch are the pins the software expects to see the connection between for that operation will a given pedal work with a given piece of software ...
Your best bet is to contact VEC and see if they know which product number in their line works with that player application (they are the manufacturers for your Infinity pedals and most of the other pedals sold in this country).
Vec Electronics Corp 111 Grand Ave Ste 2 Palisades Park, NJ 07650-1035 Phone: 201-947-6462
Virtually any pedal VEC manufactures can be bought through the distributor, Sound Technologies, that shares that building with them in NJ, telephone (201) 947-3578. There are many other national and international distributors as well; you just need to know what VEC pedal model number you are shopping for.

funny Cynthia
I'm definitely not going over the edge, although people like Kikki and her alter egos certainly do drive me a little nutty. I have decided to call it a day and turn the computer off, hoping that when I return to MT Stars tomorrow that it will be a nice place again. Lets hope.

Cynthia- the first time I did not ask why I was not a candidate - I just accepted what they said and went with contacts. Then I saw article about a new procedure that said it uses a laser to make the flap opening. I went to a dr. who was referred by the website of the new procedure. I have a question for you though - if both of your eyes were done for 20/20 vision, why would they tell me to have the monovision done - why not do both to 20/20? I guess these are questions I really need to go back and ask them, but thought I would get your opinion too. Thanks.
