The hospital I work for pays 11 cents for 60 character line.  The psychiatrist who I type for pays me 10 cents for 60 character line and the national is 9 cents for 65 character line.  I am considering leaving the national because the platform they use is very undependable and is down frequently and what I am making with them is not worth the stress of it.  I am thinking of taking on the neurology group since I know it is dependable (tapes) and they will pay me more and I won't have that minimum line count to worry about.  Thanks everyone for your input.
