Most of the time, it's not that I have that much trouble with the actual dictation part, because I'm experienced enough in most instances to know what he should be saying, but it's when they get to names. They can pronounce their own names and it doesn't even sound like what it looks like. I usually get through the report quite easily, but spend way too much time hunting for referring physicians. The data base is TOO big. We have to put the name and address of the referring physicians on the report. I don't type many of these physicians enough to even get used to them, much less make macros. I've been working for this company for 6 months and still on a daily basis get physicians that I have never done before. How do you handle that? Maybe you are right, time for another company, but according to this board, there's not much to choose from.
