Jill's mother (or so she always thought) came to visit because she had cancer and she wanted to tell Jill that she was adopted in case she didn't live (she did live). Jill went searching for her mother, found this woman that said she was her mother (she wasn't). This was someone Kay knew from long ago. Any how the woman finally let Kay know that she was Jill's mother. This caused Kay to have a stroke. Everything finally came out because Mac (Kay's granddaughter) was going to marry Billy (Jill's son). Of course they found out just after their wedding ceremony that they were first cousins, and thus their love was forbidden. Needless to say, neither Jill nor Kay were thrilled with the truth, but they have been working on their relationship.
As far as Abby goes, Diane Jenkins had stolen what was thought to be Victor's donation to the Sperm Bank in order to produce another heir for Victor. There were 2 samples and Ashley stole one and used it on herself, and thus produced Abby. The other sample Diane used for herself and produced a child. However, it turned out not to be Victors, but by a stroke of luck, it turned out to be Jack's (he had been having a testicular cancer scare, so he just put some stuff aside just in case).

I believe I understand what you're trying to do. Try following these steps.
Open a new blank document and set the margins as you've been instructed (File, Page Setup, Margins). Next, click on the tab for Layout. Make sure Section starts has New Page in the box. In the next section, Headers and Footers, make sure none of the boxes are checked. Change the measurement from edge for the Header to 1". In the Page Section for vertical layout choose Center. In Preview Section make sure that Whole Document is selected. Click OK.
Now, Go to View, Headers/Footers. Type the information that you want into the Header area. Don't worry that it looks like the Header area is larger than it should be; it will shrink as your letter grows. Save this as a document template (.dot)
Now, whenever you use this template, just type your first letter, use Ctrl+Enter to go to the next letter/page. The Header information will show at the top of each page and each letter will be centered on the page for you.
Personally, I believe how detailed
the original instructions for the account are when the account begins on the program is vital. I used to hate all the account specifics, but the more detailed they are, the less questions you have and together as a team we will make less mistakes. This will lead to everyone doing it the same way and the VR learning correctly the first time. I worked 2 hours and can to 400 lph strictly editing. I didn't think it could be done either, but this is also an account with very little ESL. So there are many, many factors to getting a good lph rate. Hope this helps.

Well, the 911 thing was that its not hooked up to my local 911 anymore, and has to go thru their emergency center, who will forward my info to my 911. Only danger is that if I can't speak, I might be sunk. I have anaphylactic reactions at times, so got a little nervous about that end. But I've never been able to be kept quiet for long to date! ;-) Near death or not, I can still talk! Well, I guess I'll go along with it and give them a try. I love their ads, and the cost is great. I, too, always have the unlimited plans with other companies, which ALWAYS cost me more each month for no reason!! Thanks again! Happy Vonage!
Clinic notes are less detailed normally
than acute care/hospital reports. They are limited to that 1 speciality with only sparse mentioned normally of other medical conditions not pertaining to the clinic visit. However, in acute care, you have to be aware of drugs, generic versus brand, correct dosages, all types of medical conditions, problems, side effects, lab values (a working knowledge of correct and invalid values dictated in case the doctor is in error), and "all" specialities. That is just a few of the things required for acute care transcription.
Many MTSOs looking for acute care MTs will not consider someone who has only been in a "clinic" per se because the MT has only been possibly working in 1 speciality. You need a broad overall knowledge to work in acute care as you never know from 1 report to the other what is going to be thrown at you. In the clinic setting, the MT can be isolated from anything new that has cropped up, especially if in a clinic for a number of years.

i mentioned something to my supervisor a couple of weeks ago that I "heard" that MQ was offering extra on the line rates to new hires, which upset me, and of course, her response was you can't trust what you hear or see and I know that, but it seems like what i'm seeing on this website seems to be more reliable in some respects than what i get from MQ and like you said, that's really sad. I'm not signed up for IPay so i can't check to see if there's anything there -- guess i could check my bank to see if there's more there.

Don't know where you got your information-
Although a CMA is definitely not a PA, I do not know anywhere you get get what you need in 4-6 weeks. I took the CMA exam after years working in a physician's office, but the programs that I know about in this area are 1-2 years.

My husband came home from work hearing about something called EDTA (Ethylene~Diamine~Tetra-acetic~Acid). It is suppose to break down the minerals and heavy metals out of your body and make your risk of heart disease a lot lower. Does anyone have an information on this. He would like to take it if it true because of heart disease in his family, although I am not certain he should, as I always worry about the things they don't tell you about the stuff your taking.

you do not continue to believe that air conditioning will kill mold . . . it will not, and nowhere in the document you linked to does it even suggest that. It does provide information about air conditioning lowering the relative humidity of a home, and also that it aids in drying out wet areas (because it lowers the relative humidity).
You are not only misinformed, but also are misinforming others by posting segments of the document that are not connected in any other way than being a part of the same document.

This program can be set to automatically download files from FTP sites or folders on the computer's hard drive; it's just that you have to do it manually, whereas some of the "more automated programs" came with these things already set up. I use ES for all transcription playback and haven't needed the pricer automation.
As with most opinions, they are subjective, but happy for the discourse.
Just for your information....
There was no lack of willingness to fill anybody in about anything. I was going to tell her everything from top to bottom about the account, what I was looking for and find out what she was looking for so as to make a perfect fit. She was not "signing her life away" either. I am only looking for 2-3 hours per day and the time you complete the work is totally up to you. As far as being miserable to work for, I haven't had anyone work for me before because I have been the only person in my business, doing hospital account along with IC positions. I don't have to offer more cpl to get anyone to work for me. In fact, I could just keep all of it for myself, but because I try to keep my clients happy I am needing to get another person on-board so as to keep TAT within reason. As far as I'm concerned this discussion can be locked. I can't believe the hateful and bitchy remarks made to a totally innocent inquiry. As I haven't had to go through the hiring process before, I was wondering if this was the norm, that you get people like this when you interview. After all of this, I think I will just continue to do all the work myself. There will be less headaches for all involved and more money for me in the long-run. So all of you who had a problem with a simple inquiry, go back to your little holes and be happy. I've got work to do!

I graduated from a MT course in 06. It was a nine month course and I found it very helpful. I would think with your knowledge you would only need a Med.Term class for refreshers. (Which you probably do not need,but almost everyone wants). I also feel I should mention, which is something that I wish someone would have told me starting off,
MOST PLACES REQUIRE 2 YEARS BEFORE THEY ALLOW YOU TO WORK FROM HOME.
The college I would recommend is Indian Hills Community College, in Ottumwa Iowa. They offer all classes for this program online. They have a great set up and for all the interviews I have been on most of the employers comment on how great the classes were and sometimes they even went above and beyond what was required. My daugther will be 18 in June and no she is not having sex. She isn't even dating yet. She is very involved in school and education. Also, she does not want the Gardaisl shot. She came to me about it before she heard my opinion as several of her friends had bad experiences with them. The doctor did a breast exam ---which is why I was asked to leave. It is required in my state for a driver's permit -- no gyno exam. No she does not need to be vaccinated. I want her to live. Several girls have died. Cervical cancer is treatable and there is no hard proof Gardasil even works. So far I'm only seeing the bad side effects. The first girl ever to get it died within minutes. And yes, I have tried to do research on my own regarding back x-rays. I'm finding varies information, which is why I posted here.
