Thank you, for seeing the significance...

That was the point - how rapidly this could all happen, now that the technology is perfected.

If there are MTs who have no care about it, that is terrific for them; perhaps they have something to fall back on (I personally do not have anything yet to support myself with, other than my job as an MT at a national).  Maybe they are holding out as to what they know.

I personally now of MTs who use VR for their jobs at nationals and get obscene line counts and makes tons of money.  That is a great option, but it should be across the board.  Perhaps the MTSOs should send us that equipment along with the standard...

When this goes down, I think it will be so fast.  Just like with the capitation in the hospitals - it was years in planning, (which VR has been) but the actual employees, at the hospital I worked at anyway, were not told about it until the day we were handed pink slips and asked to leave and not make a scene (over 150 hospital employees were let go in 2 days).

Even in the advanced HIM magazine there are always articles about hospitals (or should I say 'corporations) complaining their biggest cost is transcription.  They hate paying for it.  To them it is a huge waste of money that could be spent elsewhere (not to better patients, either, in my opinion).

Where has all that money gone that the hospitals have saved, anyway, by cutting nurses, patient care, outsourcing ancillary departments, etc etc...?  Must be millions of dollars, probably in one hospital alone.

I'm not sure of the significance, but
Maternal grandfather born 05/14/1900. He had 2 grandsons born same date 60 years later (2 different daughters).

Husband and son both 30 years apart, 1950 and 1980.

My daughter and I are 30 years apart, 7/5/57 and 7/8/87. Check out that pattern.

My paternal grandmother died at age 30 on 07/05 during the birth of my aunt. My dad was 7.

The day I was born 07/05, I stopped breathing and was coded. I can only imagine what my dad was going through on that day, the same date his mother passed.

He didn't tell me until a few years after my daughter was born how anguished he was before her birth with the date being so close to 2 very traumatic events in his life.

    No wonder he was superstitious.

I'm not sure if the numbers mean anything, but my family has a lot of numerical coincidences goin' on.
    Who recognizes the significance...

of a Word board, and the intended purpose? Is it truly beyond comprehension for some? The administrator posts nearly daily to USE THE WORD BOARD, and a select few just can't seem to comprehend that fact. Please take word or phrase help elsewhere so the rest of us who see that you can't be bothered take the time to adequately use resources (or who are having fun playing with 'practice tapes' at others expense) don't have to scroll down to see what people who DO follow rules have to say.

I'll bet you leave shopping carts in the middle of parking lots, too.

Ummm..Am I missing the significance of something here? So, they get 20 cpl? Is there something
Good for them - good for all of them. I've dabbled in UMDNJ dictators, and you couldn't pay me 30 cpl to do it! Yuck.
