Spybot or Malwarebytes Antimalware. Both
are free over the internet.
See my note above about Spybot SD and spybot difference
SpyBot SEARCH AND DESTROY is a removal tool. SpyBot (that name alone, without the Search and Destroy) is, in fact, a Spyware itself. Search and Destroy can be downloaded from CNet.
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
User friendly and it seems to work well. I run it twice a week.
Hope that helps :-)
download Malwarebytes....it's free and......
I had something like that too awhile ago. Because of this "thing," I had a hard time staying on any website, let alone trying to download Malwarebytes. But I kept trying and finally, the next day, I was able to get it downloaded and ran. It took the problem away and saved me a huge headache. This "thing" was something like Spyware 2008, I just can't remember exactly. I just know it said something about spyware and everytime I tried to go to a site, it would pop up and I couldn't do anything at all. Somehow, though, I managed to bring up Malwarebytes and inbetween closing the spyware thing and its popping up again, I got Malwarebytes loaded. I also have McAffe, AdAware and Spybot but they didn't stop this thing.
One thing you need to do, if you don't already, is update your antispyware and adware protection. Do it at least once a week because new bugs are coming out constantly. I even run an update on McAffee even though I think it's supposed to do it automatically, just to be safe.
Right now I have some stupid "MywayWebSearch" or something like that and I cannot get rid of no matter what I do. Besides the 3 listed above, I even ran SuperAntispyware and Spyware Blaster and still can't get rid of it! I think I have managed to quarantine it though, cuz it doesn't seem to be causing the havoc anymore. These are all Free, by the way, and they do keep my computer pretty clean for the most part. I run scans every couple of days, and do the other maintenance stuff.
Good luck to you and give these things a try before you spend money. If they don't work, nothing lost, if they do.... money saved!

I use spybot and AVG, and also have
a program I run occasionally called SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition.
I use Spybot, search and destroy
and ad-aware. Neither interferes with the 2 programs I use for 2 different jobs.
Spybot Search and Destroy
is the best. I had a paid subscription to one and all it did was mess up my registry.
SPYBOT is free and good....sm
go to CNET dot com or download dot com where it is available for free
Yes, Ad-Aware is a good one, and so is SpyBot
