Speller problem..

I need help with a speller setting, when I change a word that does not happen to be correct the speller does not say it is incorrect it just accepts it... I have this on a laptop but works correctly on my desktop and asks a second time if the word is incorrect a second time... but on the laptop it passes it over even if wrong... what have I failed to setup on the laptop... hope this makes sense... and thanks for any help...

Need help with Stedmans speller
My Stedmans keeps not loading or something. It was working fine when I quit work Friday night. Then yesterday it would not work. I finally did a system restore and it worked after that fine. Then today, same thing, it will not work.
Can someone help me out with any suggestions?
Downloading medical speller ? (sm)
I googled medical dictionaries and spellers and I've found several. Some are free. What's the concensus? Are the free ones just as good as buying the Stedman's or something comparable? Opinions please.

Stedman's Speller Question
I have two accounts in Microsoft Word and just received a new account and they use Word Perfect. Does anyone know how to bring the Stedmans speller from Word into both Word and Word Perfect? Alice
Question about stedman's speller...
Sorry if on the wrong board, but am desperate... I have just had to start working for a second company using my laptop... I have all setup working perfectly except for the stedman's speller and is on my PC. I did figure how to take the custom dictionary and put it in the laptop, and it does pull from that, my question is how do I get the actual stedmans over to the laptop to work... I have a feeling the company provided it and it may not be able to share and may have a file that will not allow... any thoughts are appreciated, am desperate!!! Need that Stedman's :)
Can you load the Stedman's speller onto the puter there? Can't imagine not having it! nm

Make sure you have selected Medical as your speller type.
Tools, Options, Spelling and Grammer. Select Medical from the drop down list under speller type (right side).
