  • after reading supervisor posts below where they are transcribing too, it does beg the question of - cherry picking.
    • We get paid $1.10 for radiology reports and my supervisor transcribes also sm - So true

there have been plenty of times that a child needed a whack on the butt to get back into line.

Think about it this way - when most of us were growing up we feared misbehaving in school because you knew that the teachers had no problem with sending you to the principal's office, or whacking you a couple of times themselves, and we behaved.   Now kids know that the teachers and principal can't really do anything to them. 

My child knows that spanking isn't my first resort for punishment but I do believe that when a child has been given warnings and continues to repeat a negative behavior after the time outs and restrictions are put into place then a smack on the butt is in order.... and this has only had to be done a couple of times to get the child to realize that I was serious.    The negative behavior stopped after that point.
