Not being a lawyer, I really don't know but I would think that if the allegations being circulated  are not true then It would cause some loss of revenue by interfering with their ability to hire MTs.  Maybe...maybe not.

tain't slander unless
The company can prove a loss of revenue.
desk/daily - no gossip, slander.
which is now a tremendous breath of true CLEAN air.

Have not been to daily lately, but plan to. mtjob always was the best. Desk is mature, professional. I particularly enjoy the tech page.

This grudge-match will go on for a long time, I'm afraid.

harassment, slander, libel, stalking, etc.

Contact the FBI,  this lady is stalking you and that is a felony.  Most bizarre, that long-long follow-up post attacking you -- when you didn't give any specifics whatsoever -- absolutely not normal, and so weird that others would chime in with an opnion, instead of looking at how very peculiar that is.

Twenty years or so ago, I worked for someone in Sacramento, a very odd, a very difficult person, I came to my senses after a couple of weeks and got out of that situation; just wrote of my final bill (fortunately only $50) which was well worth it -- so I agree, your instincts to just get yourself away from this person are spot on.

Good luck to you,

Ellen.
