SAT

There have always been cheaters on any test, including ACT, College Boards, SAT, etc...... And rich people have always used their people to help their kids. That's the American way.

Don't think that college admissions people aren't aware of what is going on. Chances are, one of them tipped off Nightline about this.

First of all, if ANYONE is getting a perfect score on the SAT, it means the test is not designed properly. No one should be getting a perfect score.

All this testing they do in schools today is nonsense. The only people getting a benefit from it are the testing services. Teachers start in grade school teaching to the test and that continues throughout all levels of formal education. That is why we have people in their 20s and 30s who were A and B students in school, but cannot write a coherent paragraph, and have never even heard of verb-subject agreement. Hence, we hear supposedly educated people saying, "There was many reasons for this."

If your child doesn't get into the college of his CHOICE, it's not the end of the world. He can go to his 2nd or 3rd choice - there are lots of good schools out there and some wonderful teachers. If your son wants an education and is willing to do the work - obviously he is if he scored 2100 - he can get a terrific education anywhere he goes.

Congrats to him on his great score!
