RollerMouse Pro

I had the same problem. Steroid shots and physical therapy didn't help. I found a solution with a very different mouse called a RollerMouse Pro. It is expensive, but I felt it was worth it. I knew I couldn't go on with that pain forever and I worried about permanent damage. They have a website: http://www.contourdesign.com/rollermouse/
I also had to get their split keyboard for about $40 because it fits better with the mouse. Most split keyboards have a wrist rest and this mouse is part of its own wrist rest.
The extra bonus is that this mouse improves productivity. My hands don't even leave the keyboard. I know I sound like an ad, but I searched for a very long time for a truly ergonomic mouse and I didn't find anything else that helped with my pain. It is very easy to get used to, at least it was for me. Sorry about the length of the post, but I never even thought about posting about what I'd found here before.

Yes, I have the Pro, the wrist rest station, and their split keyboard. I'm not sure, but I think it was about $200, but the keyboard was about $40. The expense was worth it to me and I don't regret spending the money as it really helped with my pain. I'm glad I could help.
