I'm in Upstate NY too but haven't had any problems with the Internet.

Being in this field you should know by now that employers lure you in with easy dictators and then once they have you they slam the ESLs/mumblers, etc. all your way. If this is a "teaching" hospital there will be alot of hard dictators. Good Luck to the original poster.
