In Reply to: Proving that working at home is HARD WORK - JP
And I only work part-time. Well, doing transcription that is. The rest of it (kids, housework, errands, etc.) is more than full time as we all know. I have one child in school (year-round, so she's on a three-week break right now) and a 2yo. Sometimes it drives me crazy when the house is messy, but that definitely comes LAST on my list. I have to prioritize or I will go crazy! Sometimes it feels as though I'm just "keeping on top of things" (dishes, laundry, etc.) and "deep" cleaning is not getting done as often as it should. But then it eventually gets done. Fortunately, my husband doesn't get on me about it, because he always tells me how great I'm doing with the kids and how proud he is of me working from home, which is what I've always wanted to do.
Yes, working at home is HARD work, and I wish more people realized that. Kudos to all of us!
