The PA-C, physician assistant certified, can write prescriptions, see patients in clinic, perform small procedures (the one in our office does laser ablations), etc. They also make rounds in the hospital. She makes $42.00 an hour. She also assists in operations for our docs. BIG HUGE difference between an MA and a PA/PA-C.
