You are so right! It is MUCH better to put your children in day care than to try to work while they are running around. I had no choice when mine were little as I had 3 children, a year apart each. I couldn't afford daycare for all of them. It was hair-raising to say the least to try to work and keep up with three babies. It would have been so much better for them and for my peace of mind had they been able to go play with children their own ages, have lots of attention, and have their safety assured. Bless you if you are able to provide this for your children. Don't let anyone try to make you feel bad about doing it. I kept mine at home, but realize it would have been far, far better to send them to daycare. Your children are lucky to have such a wise and caring mother.
