That's what I do every morning before I sit down at the PC. Otherwise, I end up dozing off while transcribing, or just staring dumbly out the window.

That's what comes to mind when I hear of MTSO's actually charging their workers RENT on computers. Forget it. I prefer my own PC anyway - it's higher-quality, it's got tons more memory, it's faster, and I can load anything onto it that I want to. (Video games, PhotoShop, music-downloading software, etc.)
What you're describing is nothing short of pure GREED on the part of the MTSO.
song
Is it by hank williams junior. All my rowdy friends or something like that. Just thought I would try to help.
do you know this song?
Saturday night is the loneliest night in the week 'Cause that's the night that my sweetie and I Used to dance cheek to cheek I don't mind Sunday night at all 'Cause that's the night friends come to call And Monday to Fridays go fast And another week is past But Saturday night is the loneliest night in the week I sing the song that I sang for the memories I usually seek Until I hear you at the door Until you're in my arms once more Saturday night is the loneliest night in the week I sing a lonely song and everything seems wrong you know saturday night is the loneliest night in the week and I sing a song for the memories I usually seek Until I hear you nocking at my door Until you're in my arms once more Saturday night is the loneliest night Saturday night is the doggone lonelest night in the week Until I hear you at the door Until you're in my arms once more Saturday night is the loneliest night in the week
Song came first...
Charlie Manson thought it was a message to him to do what he did (actually he wasn't man enough to do it himself he had his groupies do it)
This song says it ALL ! (sm)
As I was driving home tonight, I heard a song on the radio that says it all about the current situation in the U.S., especially for the (former) middle class! It's called,
"We Can't Make it Here" by James McMurtry.
You can find it on Limewire, among other places. Every word of his song packs a punch because they're so true.... very few of us in the U.S. are making it anymore, thanks to greedy CEOs. Check it out !
song
I listened to this song and you are so right, the song says it all!
I will never tell my favorite song, never, never!
Hint: It is a Christmas carol for MTs.
beatles song
Got to be "We can work it out" sentimental reasons, from high school!!
Do you know the song, Complicated?
Hope this works ----
I want him to sing that song
zx
Hey that's the song she sang! Who does that?

Taylor's LAST song did it for me!!!...sm
TAYLOR HICKS IS GOING TO BE THE AMERICAN IDOL......he's just more genuine!!! Kat is good but whoever posted about Tori Spelling......I don't think Tori is THAT well liked......by the general public...so I don't know how that other poster thinks Tori can pull strings for Kat....
Definitely an awesome song!
xx
You are singing my sad song
What you have described happens to me to and it feels like a personal attack. You can see the ER jobs there, you work your butt off to get to them just to watch them disappear before your eyes. It can cause major depression! This is how we make our living.....don't mess with us!
If you find an answer, I would love to know what it is.
What's your favorite sing-along song when alone in your car?
Mine are Rose-Colored Glasses and Crazy by Patsy Cline.
What's your fave Beatle song?
Hey Jude 4 me!
Help. Can anyone tell me what the song is on the commercial on tv where the guy is driving across
the US to San Francisco for a cell phone commercial and he pulls up in front of his girlfriends house in SF and calls her on the cell phone and she comes to the door and there he sits in his car. It is the cell phone commercial for the cell phone with the bars on it. This is driving me nuts. I cannot remember the name of that oldie song.
I've butchered a song or two....
I have had a BALL at karaoke from time to time...and NOT drunk either! Sometimes the song choice isn't so hot, so I remember not to sing that one again when it's over! You should try it! It's not American Idol and you don't have to be good...you just want to enjoy it and have fun!
actually I worded her song wrong....sm
Helen Reddy: I am woman, hear me roar, in numbers too big to IGNORE!!!!!!!! (not explore)....sorry *LOL*
Exactly, because the way she sang her last song stunk
nm
I agree, also. Look at the one song Elliott did,
I don't even remember Elvis doing it, it certainly was not a common one, and he did a great job. Kat had her chance.
The last song Kat did was painfully horrible...sm
and if for some reason her daddy bought enough votes for her to win and that thing was recorded I would hope that no radio station would actually play it!
She also shouldn't have sung that 1st song....sm
She didn't do well the first time she did it and then her response for choosing it last night was really stupid - "I wanted to show I can sing a top 40 song and thought that if I stood up it'd make a difference." Gees - if I had been in the final 2 the last thing I would have chosen was a song that I was told the first time I did badly on! Who cares if she or anyone can sing a song that is top 40?
take a short break for a song

(don't be shy ... you won't regret it)
Type the Christmas song and whatever
Garbage In/Garbage Out
Hahaha sounds like a song.....
the great toe, the toe, the great toe, uh, uh, uh, OH
YEAH!!!!!!!!
What company is this? Sounds like the same song and dance

Rewrite song: I forgot my medication..
I can't find my medication
Cause I try.. and I try..but I'm high!
I can't get no..I can't get no..
When I'm tripping around stage
And I'm shakin' it at the Superbowl
And they're chanting I am way too old
That I've lost all my sensation
I look like morgue refrigeration
I can't sing, no, oh no no no
Flat, flat, flat...that's singin' flat
I can't find the right direction (off stage)
I can't get no resurrection....
I thought she had a bad night with the country song, really sad though
because her voice is one of the BEST.
I'm rooting for Chris, too.
NOOOOO, Kat sang 1 song decently
and I CAN'T STAND HER. I knew last night was going to be a lot of low-cut tops for her. I just really can't stand her. I think she believes she can sing certain types of songs but her voice is definitely more suited for the softer songs. Simon saw it, why else would he have her sing "Over the Rainbow."
Ah well, Elliott will be around whether he's kicked or not.
I believe TAYLOR HICKS is our NEW AMERICAN IDOL!!!
MEATLOAF wrote and sang that song
Celine Dion did it close to 20 years later - Meatloaf has always been like he is - even when he was younger.
Heard his song on the radio-it's a hit-Go Taylor
Song inspired Charlie Manson...
Not to be confused with Marilyn Manson...
What is your all time favorite female song?...sm
My daughter just advanced to the local FOX station Idol contest and now has to pick three great songs in a week. She loves all types of music so it is hard to pick the right song. She has a deep, powerful projecting voice but has a little trouble with the higher notes. Just thought you all could give some different ideas, old and new songs, all genres alike. Thanks
Cute....from the Billy Joel song?

That Pepto-Bismol Commercial song!
I now know who actually sings on that Pepto-Bismol commercial - "Upset stomach, diarrhea, -- YEAAAAAAA" It's the doctors I transcribe for!
I've been hearing this song for 20 years sm
from outsiders. We're still working, right? There will always be a need for MTs in some form, whether deciphering VR or straight transcribing. However, if I were starting a career now, I'd certainly go into an entirely different field--one that pays for the intellect and skill that is needed for MT.
As the song says "I've never seen a luggage rack on a hearse."
When do you have time to have a life? If it is a financial issue I certainly understand that, but I'd live a simplier lifestyle and do without "wants" than to work myself to death. If it is just you no harm done to anyone but you, but if you have a family it isn't worth the sacrifice IMHO.
I've been listening to the same song and dance for years.
Things only seem to be getting worse.
She got booted because she sang a country song really crappy.
nm
Carrie Underwood sung her Jesus song...sm
We love Mandisa and she did not get booted because it was a Christian song, rather it was also a country song and she just doesn't do country........they all had problems with country, except Bucky and Kellie who ARE country.
Mandisa is going to be famous, have no fear..........
I think Chris is fabulous as long as I like the song he sing, LOL
The Queen one tonight was over the line for me, though I'm sure he did it well for those who enjoy a song like that.
He acts like he's on a laxative! Poop squats in every song. nm
x
What is the name of the group that Chris sang with? Great song! nm
vv
He wrote the song, but it was sung by Celine Dion...around 1996 I think. nm
x
Favorite love song that brings goosebumps and tears to the eyes?
All Chris did was cover the band Live's cover of the song. He
didn't do anything special.
Money, money, money, mmonnneyyy. Singing the Apprentice song.
:+
just please remember that....
science is a GOOD thing :) If anything, the ultimate gift of God. IMO
(shuttin up now)
OKAY, BUT REMEMBER
Remember, maybe your current employer would pay you a penny more a line (MAYBE), but what about the next employer. Things in this business change quickly, and just because your current employer may up your pay, the next one might not care.
Do you remember>>bet I'm
How about those HUGE transcription machines bigger than a desk>>>>I gravitated to MT from KEYPUNCH school...REMEMBER THOSE KEYPUNCH MACHINES!!!!!
