that I identify with you - I've had the SAME frustrations with QA, however, was thinking you should insist on an answer by calling your supervisor and explaining in detail your complaint. Then if nothing changes, you know this is what you have to deal with...

That's what I did. With a nonresponsive QA, I just decided if the account was NOT a verbatim account, then I would use my training/common sense and correct the report in question (to the degree we should correct it...)

Keep all emails so that if you get into "trouble" doing this you can say, 'I've asked for guidance here a number of times and my requests go unanswered, so I had no choice but to apply the account specifics, and use my training/judgement in making a call.

(Some QA people are literally too busy to give the feedback, which is not an excuse in MHO) and some have a power complex but that's a whole nother issue...)
