Did you give her a father? No, you robbed her of that chance. Furthermore, the fatherlessness in this country is rampant. Just check the projects. You'll find very few fathers in attendance there. Heck, there's even an epidemic of grandparents having to raise their grandchildren because even the mother is too flaky. Don't quote lowering single pregnancy statistics as something wonderful. It's only awful now, a slight improvement over horrible. That's not the same as people being responsible about reproducing within a stable marriage, certainly not possible all the time, but something to shoot for.
