Your other new symptoms sound like maybe (guessing here, I'm not a doctor) - trigeminal neuralgia (?). I'm not sure - but maybe read up on it and possibly reconsult with your neurologist. I hope you feel better real soon though!!!

Researchers from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem have announced today the discovery of eight previously unknown, ancient animal species within "a new and unique underground ecosystem in a cave near Ramle, Israel.

In a press conference on the Mt. Scopus campus of the Hebrew University, the researchers said the discovery came about when a small opening was found, leading to a cave extending to a depth of 100 meters beneath the surface of a quarry in the vicinity of Ramle, between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The quarry is operated by cement manufacturer Nesher Industries.

The cave, which has been dubbed the Ayalon Cave, is "unique in the world", said Prof. Amos Frumkin of the Hebrew University Department of Geography. This is due mainly to its isolation from the outside world, since the cave's surface is situated under a layer of chalk that is impenetrable to water. The cave, with its branches, extends over some 2� kilometers, making it Israel's second largest limestone cave. It is to remain closed to the public to permit further scientific research.

The invertebrate animals found in the cave � four seawater and freshwater crustaceans and four terrestial species � are related to but different from other, similar life forms known to scientists. The species have been sent to biological experts in both Israel and abroad for further analysis and dating. It is estimated that these species are millions of years old. Also found in the cave were bacteria that serve as the basic food source in the ecosystem.

The animals found there were all discovered live, except for a blind species of scorpion, although Dr. Dimentman is certain that live scorpions will be discovered in further explorations and also probably an animal or animals which feed on the scorpions.

The underground cave includes an underground lake, in which the crustaceans were found. The lake is part of the Yarkon-Taninim aquifer, one of Israel's two aquifers, yet is different in temperature and chemical composition from the main waters of the aquifer. The lake's temperature and salinity indicates that its source is deep underground.

Among the interesting features of the discoveries thus far in the cave is that two of the crustaceans are seawater species and two others are of a types found in fresh or brackish water.

This can provide insights into events occurring millions of years ago regarding the history of ancient bodies of water in the region.

Unfortunately, I have had Bells palsy for the past 8 years. I got it while pregnant and had a pretty severe case. I was extremely sick with that pregnancy and then ended up with the Bells palsy. In fact, my baby quit growing after I got the Bells palsy! Thank God I was about 32 weeks when I got it. Anyway, over time the symptoms have not been as bad. For the most part to look at me you couldnt tell I had the Bells--until I smiled at you. Then, of course, you would know it. I have regained some use of muscles, but not all. I have been able to get my eye to close, but it is not tight, so I still battle with dry eye every night/morning. My forehead has been completely "dead" since this happened. Even electric stim could not move the muscle! Whenever I get a headache it always seems to settle on the dead part of my forehead. My headaches have been increasing lately, and currently I have had a headache for five days! I have tried Advil, Tylenol and Excedrin Migraine with no relief. My neurologist cant see me until January since I havent been to him for years. I can not afford an MRI right now and have no desire to start taking any type of pain med. Does anyone have any experience with Bells or have any ideas. I was wondering if a TENS unit might help. I have been reading about that on the internet. Sorry this is so long. Thank you for any help. As you can imagine, I am having a very hard time working all day at my computer with this!

When I get a private account, I set up a small 3-ring binder with the specifics and also their samples that they give me. I also keep the statements there until the month is completely done and then I do a monthly billing only. Once they pay, that stuff gets transferred over every few months into a 10x13 envelope and stashed towards the following year when I do taxes....it is all part of the records that I keep should I ever get audited. I also try to keep the private MDs pretty much the same way, unless they have account specifics besides their samples, as much as I am able to.

the light is off on the porch and it's getting late, i.e. after 9 p.m. It amazes me the # of kids .... and adults... who don't use good common sense about trick-or-treating and ignore the usual "lights on means ok to knock/ring, lights off means go away/no goodies" rules that have been around for decades.

I'm thinking about turning on the lawn sprinkler close to the front door - but some idiots would probably just run through it.

In the past I've put the dog out on her tie-out in the front yard and that scares some away, but the people that my dog knows get by her by just petting her because she knows them.

By the way, you'd be correct on the media - I'm not into American Medial...I get my news from Europe, other foreign places, MY VENEZUELAN FAMILY (in laws)...BBC is a good one (love Christiana Amanpour). But Chavez is a Castro Mini-Me in my thinking...and I'm being *kind* due to being on a public board....

In this world of nastiness, it is refreshing to see your giving post, your willingness to help a Mom out by taking care of her child because she is not able to currently. More impressive is that you are the *mommy* but are very open-minded and have full intentions of returning said child when the Mom returns back to being Mom.

There are so many flames on this board, and, yes, many women get hurt enough to cry. I have corresponded personally with many MTs after they have gotten flame broiled for no reason at all - in particular, newbies with some innocent question about the industry, or people looking to get into the MT world, who post an innocent post asking about "how" to get into the industry, and they are flame broiled to a crisp. I give them my personal email and have made some great new friends that way. Yes, they have cried. This board in particular is a DISGRACE regarding flaming newbies and MT wannabes.
