as far as proof that you paid this person. You shouldn't need someone to tell you what they need - if you have proof that you made the payments, then just send them and get your name cleared. As Patti stated above, the Labor Board's denial means nothing more than it doesn't handle IC situations.
Also, do you have proof that the IC has badmouthed other MTSOs as you claimed? If this happened to me and I knew I had paid all monies due, I'd do anything and everything to get the word out and I wouldn't wait for an invitation to do so. A word of caution, too: It might be a wise idea to not even post here at all and refrain from engaging in the back-and-forth. Just submit any proof to the administrator straight away. You might cause further damage to your reputation by posting something unprofessional in the heat of the moment. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt and wait for the details from all sides, but the longer you wait to present yours, the worse it looks. Just an outside observation.

I have had friends that spotted during pregnancy and their pregnancy went full-term. However, my second started out with a little pink on the tissue then a few more days got heavier. It unfurtunately ended in MC.  I did not have any cramping. I was only 6 weeks. My third pregnancy, I did have brownish spotting at around 7 or 8 weeks, scared me to death but I carried her on to full-term, well actually a week over my due date. She is 5 months old now, very healthy.

You are so funny I expected that joy to carry over in all aspects of your life -
What has changed for me - When I was IC I felt so free - could work whenever. Also, we are all afraid we won't have a job so everything we have invested in this may be going you know where on a handcart. That makes things a lot less enjoyable for me. But, have to say, I love the way you write and I agree with other poster - you should at least try a newspaper column!

I have over 16 years experience and I have been experiencing the same thing
I've sent out at least 10 resumes in the past week or two and only 1 or 2 responses and then nothing. I think it's just a sign of the times. Sometimes, I feel like having too much experience is a hindrance because these companies who only want to pay 1-3 cpl for VR etc.. know it's an insult so they hope for some newbie to accept their office. This biz has gone down the drain!!!!
Just experiencing acute care dictation, for the first time in years
the dictation seems lacking of a change in the tone of the dictation, inflections put on syllabyls or sentence structure are both missing. It makes the job boring with the sighs and "ummmm"s of which there are many, loss of train of thought. In my day, the doctor's dictated with some emotion which helped to enjoy the job even more, in fact, that is my fav part, typing a good job for the person dictating - that has always been my goal. It is very depressing since I see another 10 or so years in this field unless I sprout a new talent that can pay the bills.

They can send an email that goes to all MTs in one shot. I think she just means a courtesy email
would be nice. MQ is not getting any easier. My account has been picked over thoroughly when it went on DQS by ASR and I get all the remains because they only have a core group doing ASR which I think is wrong because you get all the bad dictators and it would be nice to be acknowledged that at least you know the person you can discuss problems with as they crop up. This is a big one and we have no manager anymore and no one to discuss this with at all in my office so you just sit here very day doing this work and no way to vent to someone that could offer some suggestions on this and other issues that come up to help relieve some of the stress of working this way.

e-mail address because it is not revealed when they send mail because we have spam protection in place. The only way they would know what your email address is, is if you reply to the email they send you. I did leave, thus the name Ex-MQ'r. I appreciate your remarks and I agree with some of them. My problem was with the adminstrator's tone and overall unprofessional remarks to people who are hurting. "Sick of this crap" does not create a lot of respect. I am no longer employed by MQ. I was tired of being mistreated and tired of feeling abused etc., but I can still sympathize with those who are not able to walk away from a company until they have another job to go to and the need to vent. How is skipping over their remarks any more irritating than having to skip over remarks about a person's favorite country western singer, favorite food, or whatever. I made a decision today just like I did when I left MQ--I wish everyone well but I won't be visiting this board anymore. People are too mean spirited and eager to hush everyone up. When the administrator becomes part of the pack, it's just too much. Good luck to all.
Administrator, is there any way
that your web person could program this site so that when a message link comes up in "last message posted" that is posted on the MQ board that it could be marked MQ so we non-mq'rs can ignore it.
Even though there is now an MQ board, I still end up on the MQ board dozens of times a day because I'm clicking on new posts shown as 'last message posted'. I don't have any interest whatsoever in being on that board or seeing any MQ related posts.
I certainly hope that you'll be able to do this. The same goes for 'most recent messages', please find a way to mark them as MQ.

And apparently you don't know what we talk about. We are MT's. It is a special place because the posters there are safe from negative attacks by nasty people who have no clue what they are talking about. Heavy medications?? WTH? Nobody I know on TOB is on HEAVY meds though some of us are on meds for different ailments.

I've been trying for weeks to get into chat. No matter what name/password I use, it won't let me in. I tried to reregister and it consistently tells me I'm not using at least six letters in my password even though the ones I've tried are 6 and 9, and then today it finally admitted I already had an account but when I clicked the lost password part it sent me to Error 404. I'm about to give up. Am I not holding my mouth right or something??? Hope you can help and get me into chat again.

Is the Administrator on Vacation??
It used to be that any post mentioning MQ was deleted, because all MQ related issues are to be discussed on the MQ board, thus, a seperate MQ board.
In addition, one of the moderators says it's ok to post and post and post about pets, when there is a Pet board under the 'General' boards tab.
If you THINK the administrator was being rude..
methinks you ALL need to thicken up your skin.........

When everything hit the boards a few days back, you (well, whoever is running the board these days) stated that if anyone had a problem and wanted to leave this board, send a message and write "unsubscribe" in the message line.
I did that and just did a test post to see if you unscribed my email address.
