Inscribe is the software program you are typing in but you need another software program, I do believe, to make the pedal function. Express Scribe will work with Emdat's Inscribe.

I have two Infinity foot pedals - one for my regular computer and one for my laptop and I am now working in Inscribe with a USB Infinity food pedal connection with Express Scribe making my pedal work. :)
