It is increasingly difficult to get an in-home position without prior transcription experience. However, many companies will hire new graduates from the schools Andrews, MTEC, or Career Step. If you are considering local education through a community college, I recommend asking what they provide in the way of job placement assistance and where their graduates generally find employment.
