Amen, so sad. He was like the "only" newscaster on TV while growing up and beyond. He is home now!!

I am 30, grew up watching Peter Jennings.
This was really sad for ME because I have seen him on the TV since I can remember watching TV. The time I remember him the most of course is 9/11. He was there nonstop. I will never forget.
Yes it is very sad. Not a ffan of network news, but Jennings did the 2000 New Years broadcast
where they showed different New Years celebrations in different countries and he handled it so well getting us all through the 2000 scare. Too bad about the lung cancer. It's an ugly but for the most part preventable disease. They say he was a heavy smoker. All the sadder.

Office Space is hilarious! It's an older movie, but sooo funny! The attitude Peter
has (the main character) reminds me of me! Gotta see if you haven't already. I watch it over and over and I still laugh.
My favorite lines:
"Can't you just zonk me out so that I don't know that I'm at work, in here? Can't I just come home and think that I've been fishing all day or something?"
"I don't really like my job and I'm not gonna go anymore."
That old time movie star Peter Lorie. There's just somethin about his eyes, so dern fascinating!!
