I had the same situation with a company in Idaho. I tried to be nice, but decided it was no longer time to be nice when I tried to call her and her husband answered the phone and told me that I had the wrong number. I do not know what your contract states, but my contract had no clauses about the following promise I made to my former boss. I told her that if I did not receive my pay in a week or she had not called to make suitable arrangements, I would forward all pertinent e-mails to her doctors proving that I had in fact typed their work that she received pay for, but that she had not paid me! I told her that I would also plaster her name and proof all over the MT boards, and report her to the BBB. Needless to say, I received my check 3 days later by "return receipt" mail.
