This forum has outlived a real purpose except bickering and feather fanning.
I have come to realize that this is a gathering point for people who like to whine. Those who have all day to sit and post messages to each other to pump up their own ego.
It is amazing to me that arrogance and ignorance are always complimentary of one another. I refuse to be drawn into a war of personal attacks, or listen to someone blow their own horn on how critically important they are, or how indispensible they are.
Unless there is solidarity of purpose to change the industry for the exploitation of ALL of us working in this industry, it will never change.
Quite frankly, I'm tired of carrying the battle torch for people who are too weak to do it for themselves.
I will hold to my standards and refuse to do voice recognition, because one more blood letting of my withering paycheck by corporate leeches is one violation too many in the last 20 years.
Send the work to India or some other third world poverty-strickened country where slave labor is a way of life, and continue to use those people, but you will not find me doing it.
Enough is enough.
