Mt. Carmel
I know an MT who works there and they are employees of the hospital. I do not know if they have an extra outside service.
Not working for Mt.Carmel,
but remember a couple of years ago their leaving the MTSO they were with to bring transcription back in-house.  Also at that time they were talking about bringing in work from outside to make transcription a 'profit center.'   In other words, becoming an MTSO themselves.  Never heard anything else about it.  Remember going to their web site and I don't think they were paying very much per line and there were a couple of other things that turned me off about it.
Does anybody work at Mt. Carmel in Ohio?
I am working at a Trinity Hospital that is going to E-scription.  I am told Mt. Carmel in Ohio has this program. I have a few questions and am hoping someone might be able to answer them.  The #1 question on my list is:  The hospital here told me you have about 175 employees.  Do you work for the hospital or for E-scription, or some other service?  Thanking you in advance, Tynker
I'd never transcribe at Starbucks!!!!!
The coffee costs too much... better off going to Dunkin where the coffee is plentiful, for just the right price!
I get a pikc-me-up drink from Starbucks or
My favorite pick-me-upper from Starbucks is of course, their frappachino's (my favorite is mint mocha chip) or an ice-cold coolatta or flavored iced-coffee from Dunkin's.
Mmmm - I'm going to have to go to Starbucks this weekend. nm

Starbucks Italian Roast for me, although
I am trying to wean myself off that and onto Pierce Brothers Free Trade Coffee. The Red Eye is a hearty blend, so I may be able to do it--if I take it slowly. I'm hooked...
Post below about transcribing at Starbucks is why
A few think it is funny and it is most definitely not.
YES! I'll be at Borders tonight along with my Starbucks!

Oooh I LOVE St. B's. No room though.

Had one in the neighborhood as a kid that liked to "play baseball" with us. This was pre-leash laws. Darn thing would catch the ball every single time we hit it and we'd have to draw straws for the duty of sticking our hand in the St. B's mouth to retrieve what was left of the slimy ball. What a great dog he was though.

oooh Diddles - come to Miami! That would..

Oooh, thanks for the heads up- I can't wait to see it! nm

Oooh, that sounds yummy! Thanks for the recipe!
:)
Oooh, I just LOVE what's for dinner posts. sm

Funny thing is, I just put chili together for tomorrow. Dumped it in the crock pot. put the crock in the fridge and will do a slow cook thing tomorrow. Yummy.  Must be cold and rainy where you live too.  All I could thing of was chili, baked beans or a big pot of hot soup. :)

Tonight we had baked pork chops and oven baked red potato chunks. Very, very yummy and very, very easy.  Here's what you do:

Dice up potatoes (with skins on) and layer them in a 13 x 9 baking dish. Add 1/3 cup cooking oil and 1 package of Lipton (or store brand) dry onion soup mix and stir it up. Then mix the other package of onion soup mix with bread crumbs, rinse off the pork chops, and roll them in the mix and throw them in a baking dish as well.  Put both in the oven at 350 degrees.  Potatoes usually take 35 minutes. Pork chops depend on the thickness. WICKED GOOD!

Oooh, cajun turkey. My favorite!
:D

I loved those 3% raises every year. Oooh, a whole 'nother quarter per hour.
Cost of living went up faster than wages.  Then they'd wonder why turnover was so high as everyone left for greener pastures.
