I promised myself I would not antagonize the almighty know-it all's that keep attacking poor innocent posters with vicious rude remarks. It only keeps it going. Even though I would really like to tell a couple of them off, and one in particular. Let 'em starve, I guess. Maybe they will go away eventually.

it is hard like you say, especially since that's probably just what they want - to get everyone riled up and upset. We are better than that !

the PA for the physician about a prescription for Megace to get hubby's appetite back. I was told by him "there was nothing that would work"- told him I could buy marijuana, knew this would increase appetite but illegal- long story short, I changed doctors, asked for prescription for Megace, got it and the appetite was regained. After all the years I had typed on this for cancer patients and also for AIDS patients, knew of what I spoke.

My anti-virus gave the alerts and after I received the message from MTStars about correction, no more alerts!!!

Trolls need to be outed.
Call it as I see it -- you must be the originator of that nasty reply to someone seeking help. The MQ board is getting ugly and this won't be the first website to crash and burn because mods let the trolls in and the decent people didn't speak up against them.
Seen it happen all over. Been to mtchat.com lately??? TOTALLY ruined. Mean cliques, nothing but rah-rah-rah for 2 of the schools, lies abound, it's kaput.

I would love to feed BARF and have tried in the past, but it confused me, read 3 books on it, but I was always afraid I wasn't using enough of the right ingredients and being a vegitarian the meat handling was a lot for me to deal with. I also subscribe to the Whole Dog Journal, great magazine. Would love to have a sheltie in the future. I have an American Eskimo right now who I love dearly and 3 cats, feed all of them Evo with fresh chicken nightly. Glad others here are aware of the terrible ingredients of commercial companion animal food. Thanks for sharing.

9.5 cpl, working 10-12 hours a day, and still barely making ends meet. Unfortunately I've been at this a long, long time (28+ years) and don't know how to do anything else. It's a little late to be going back to school, too. Still, if the right opportunity should arise, I will probably jump ship.

I get my work over the internet and am just wondering how they are with their services. If you lose your internet, how long does it usually take to get it back up? Do you find them helpful if you have to call? Do they return phone calls promptly? Do they come in and set it up, or do you have to? I'd appreciate any info and feedback about their services. Thanks!

It's MTs like you, not I, that have caused the pay rates to decline. MTs like you who will accept whatever abuse they companies hand out, accept being cheated, and accept losing jobs to India.

Hi, Friend! Why do you assume all MTs are ladies? Isn't that a bit sexist? That aside, you should be the one who sets your rates. Do so in a very businesslike way. If they can't (or won't) afford you services, move on to someone who can. Good luck! Tom

I'm sorry that your son has to endure so much pain after what his father decided to try. I hope he doesn't have any further problems. My daughter had a very large plantar wart last year and had to get it burned off at the doctor's office. Thankfully it hasn't recurred. My neighbor's young daughter just had one and because of her age, the doctor told her to put duct tape on it. I thought it sounded really crazy, but it worked. It brought it right up to the surface after about a week. She would use an emory board to file off the dead skin around it and then she applied the one of those medicated pads on it for a few days and it popped right off.
All I can say is THAT'S SCARRY and POOR YOU!
Poor communication
I think it is very interesting and would make wonder why she was fired. Sounds to me like someone with poor management skills, who was communicating bad information as they were not happy in their job.
I have been typing operative reports on the DQS for over a year now. My office has never treated me like I am a "dime a dozen".
I agree with you on here, but why pay someone less because they are poor
than you pay someone that works for Public works. Why not give them a job at Public Works?
It's easier said than done.
If you think they are getting a lot on handouts, think again. They only get Tanif (if they have kids and dont get child support), food stamps up to I think 300 to 350 bucks (my family comsumes more), Medicaid (again if they have children), public housing (who in their right mind would want to live there).
These people are not living a life of the wealth. It is so little that they would want to go out and get a job.
I agree with you about making them work, but you cant give them slave wages either.

you know why she had to become an MT don't you? She couldn't get hired working outside of her home because for one, employers refused to make the chairs customized to fit her fanny (too expensive) and also, the endless, sporadic combustion of her pimples was way to off putting to the public (bad for business). So, she had to become an MT and work in the safety of her home.
