My dead, you didn't offend anyone. Everyone is trying to help you. Many of these women posting have been through the same thing. We all experienced it or have seen someone we love experience it.
You are lucky in that you have a supportive family - many, many women do not. Two weeks of counseling will not make round pegs fit in square holes - but you definitely will be stronger after that counseling.
Let us know who it goes for you. I don't go to church, but I pray and you and your family, including your husband, will be in my prayers.
