I don't know that samples are going to help you. It is one of those things you really only learn by doing. That is not what you wanted to hear, but I believe it is true. I found a company willing to train me to do them about 3 or 4 yrs ago and that is all I have done since.
If it is any comfort to you, I have found that more and more companies are not requiring OP notes of their acute care MTs, but are hiring MTs do only OP reports. OPs are becoming more and more of a specialty unto themselves. Apply for acute care positions and be honest with them about your experience. They might put you on the rest of the basic 4 and keep looking for an OP note specialist.
Of note, Cornerstone is hiring and they don't require OP notes of their acute care MTs. OTI mixes it up, but I know that they will not route you OPs if you can't do them well. These are the only 2 companies I currently know of who only hire American MTs and don't outsource. The other one that comes to mind does outsource overseas. This board doesn't tolerate that, and neither do I!
