If you're being paid for 8 hours but deliberately only working 6 hours, if I were the MTSO, I'd fire you. In my opinion, that sort of thing constitutes theft. If you have no intention of keeping to a required schedule, why would you agree to such a schedule? This isn't a hobby you can pick up and put down whenever you feel like it. Your employer is counting on you to do what you agreed to do. If you do not plan to keep your word, do not take the job. That is unprofessional and will get you dismissed, and rightly so.
