I work 7 days a week unless on vacation, and I give at least 4 weeks notice of my vacation dates.

I am not sure why you are having a problem with weekend production. Maybe hiring an IC for just weekends might be the answer of get rid of the dead weight and find new reliable MTs. It is your call of course, I really don't know the answer. Some is trial and error.

There are reliable productive MTs out there, you just picked the wrong ones.
