Not Mrs. Twitty

Amen - well said, and is EXACTLY the way it was in my house. You live here, I pay for the food, I pay for the roof over your head, I pay for your clothes, you damn well better follow my rules because this is MY house. There was no wearing of trashy clothes. I raised 3 by myself. No pregnancies, no drugs, good kids, now responsible parents all of them, and raising their children the same way, except all of them are raising their children in the church which I didn't because I worked on Sundays. They all were offered the $ value of a cruise and took the money for down payments on cars. And yet, as tight as I raised my kids, I wondered where in the heck did they get their brains at times. I let my children go when they were comfortable going. None of them have come back home because it "didn't work out". They have all been married over 15 years. You have to have faith in your children but that doesn't mean you need to be blind and give them opportunities to misbehave like that.

Mrs. Twitty is used to getting her way
and lovin the spotlight.
Mrs. Twitty
To all of you who are so judgmental of this woman, tell me, at what point do you pack it up and go home, leaving your daughter behind, God knows where. Would you be able to get the thought out of your mind that she is alive somewhere and wonders why you stopped looking for her?
Mrs. Twitty
God forbid, it has to be horrible, but the country can't turn itself inside out and upside down because of her daughter's disappearance. SHE made the mistake of allowing her daughter to do this. A 17 and 18 year old is not an adult. Its been 36 (?) days. Sooner or later, you have to accept the reality that you may never know, instead of staying there demanding and demanding and go home to start mending. She is not the only mother that this has happened to whether in Aruba or other places. They move on, she needs to move on too.
Twitty, etc
None of you are paying attention. College and going into a well-known pick-up bar in another country at 2 a.m. by a teenager, by yourself are two different things. You can't keep your children protected all the time. College doesn't even come into play here. Parents NEED to instill values and NEED to look at ramifications and most of all, they need to understand that as soon as an uneducated child gets out of sight, they are going to cross the line. I would bet my last dollar that Natalee has acted up away from her parents before. This time, she was not so lucky. Sometimes I wonder what comic strips you people read. Who said anything about college? I SAID what kind of parent allows a 17-year-old girl on an unsupervised trip to a known "fast" island???? Do ya get it now?????
Adivse for Ms. Twitty
I wholeheartedly agree with you. Here she is demanding that the Aruban and Dutch governments do this, do that, etc., yet, there was Shasta Groene's father not demanding anything like that from his own country, just quietly going about his business and doing what he could and probably doing a lot of praying. She's acting like a spoiled person. I feel very sorry for her and the loss is probably devastating, but you are in another country and when in Rome, ....... She is coming off as the very arrogant, demanding, and spoiled rotten American that we have all become, according to other countries. She is not helping the situation by her actions at all. She should follow your advice.
what does Mr. Jug Twitty do for a living? And what about Jar, his brother.
They are all staying in Aruba. How can they take off of work indefinitely even if they aren't wealthy and took a second mortgage on their house.
PS: I doubt very much a resort town is giving away free services to these people and their entourage. This is how a resort makes money you know. Especially when you are there criticizing their government and call citizens criminal who have been released from jail for lack of evidence.
Holloway & Twitty Families
I feel sorry for both of the families, but just because you want an answer doesn't make people guility because you think they are. Women disappear in the US ALL THE TIME and no one cares because they arent' young, blonde, and come from money. It doesn't make their lives less than Holloway's. She used bad judgment, her parents used bad judgment. Does anyone know of a 17-year-old girl who behaves "correctly" in an atmosphere like Aruba? They let their daughter go to a "foreign country" unchaperoned. They used bad judgment and now they are looking for someone to point a finger at to take the guilt off their backs. Holloway's mother has no right to throw a temper tantrum about the Aruban system. She's not in Kansas anymore!!! Said to say, but she needs to come to grips with reality.
This is HEARSAY from media and/or Mrs. Twitty.
You all quote media as if it should be written in stone. Obviously not enough credibility to hold this guy in jail for suspicion.
holloway and twitty famillies
TO old TM, who is to say that natalle holloway used bad judgement, where you there? if you followed the story from the beginning, you would have known that there were chaperoned in that foreign country. I don't believe that her parent used bad judgement at all. Ana I think beth twitty has every right to point a finger, when all she is getting is a bunch of lies from the arubans, from day one.
Why I believe Mrs. Twitty is writing the soap opera and starring in it too!
Promoting her little dream of a soap opera with press conferences with her super glossy eyeshadow and false eyelashes. Sweet. How many opportunities does Mrs. Twitty get to get all this attention? Might as well milk it.
I pray that Mrs. Twitty gets off the TV, washes the makeup off and goes out looking for her daughter
instead of playing private detective and second-guessing the people who are actually doing something. She is a nut case. Maybe Natalee is missing on purpose based on what I have seen of her mother, the DIVA. Mrs. Twitty, you are acting nit-witty and I pray you go about the business of grieving for your daughter instead of the roles you have chosen to play for the past few weeks as judge and jury of how a country should run an investigation into your daughter's disappearance.
