Like a pan of cold water thrown in you face, huh? That's how I began to feel some 15 years ago. I would try to share my talent with the "new breed" but no way were they interested, just wanted to stab me in the back. A sad thing to happen as the Old School of MTs was a really wonderful group.

worker in S. Florida has a bad 'tude..and...sm

wear these shirts and jackets that say something like "hi, we love to help you" - and they look to run away from all shoppers questions...one has to get a manager for civility at Wal-Marts around S. Florida - this is THE TRUTH (been here 28 years).

ALL I EVER see is disgruntled Wal-Mart workers, never shoppers though. But facts are facts, Wal-Mart has opened up 15 stores in China and China WILL be taking over the world but not in my lifetime.

Kudos to you! You have a positive 'tude!

I would suggest since I started working 20 years ago in this field that you take notes. Ask for sample reports if and when possible. Start a notebook either by account or dictator. I have a 3-ring binder. If I have an account (like your secondary) where it's different specialties, I simply open my notebook and it brings back my memory of that particular dictator. Some people say use expanders, but I don't use one. I do use autotext because I work in Word.

I think developing speed takes having the same dictator, but I definitely think you are on the right path!

but hey, being a guy in a kller field, and being short AND red headed? He's bound to cop an attitude. I'll eat his food and use his recipes ANY time. He just doesn't smile easily, does he.
