Don't know your age or anything else but if he has been trying this with you he could be trying it with someone else, and perhaps younger, niece, step granddaughter, etc. So to protect others, you need to speak up. From experience I know. You would feel terrible if you said nothing and then found out he had tried something with someone younger who could not defend themselves. And if his family wants nothing to do with him, is that not a red flag.
