Need help with winmail.dat

I was wondering if anyone had an answer for me. I have the older version of express scribe on my pc, but on my laptop I have the newer version. The older version opens up my files (digital) fine with the winmail reader program, but the newer version will NOT work no matter what I try. Is there a way to download the older version of ES or maybe some other playback program that will work for this? The doctor says he changed the settings for winmail, but it keeps coming through the same.
