Need Some Help

I've been using ShortHand for over a month now and was forced to go back to using AutoCorrect, which is what I used before having the money to buy Shorthand. Anyway...

Shorthand's been messing up for me lately. I've checked the settings and played around with them like the site suggests, but it's a no-go. I type in "tpw" for "the patient was," and it comes up with "the patint was" or "the patent was" or some variation of wrong spelling. Then, when I type "ae" for "anesthesia," it pops out "anesthesiaesia" or "an esthesia." It's very frustrating and time consuming. Those are just 2 examples; it's been doing it quite frequently on random words/shortcuts.

I thought it might have been where my trial was expiring, but it's been doing all that crazy stuff after purchasing it, too.

I think I'm going to go ahead and get InstantText, but wanted to see if anyone had similar problems and if they tweaked it successfully.
