NIghtLine and SAT cheaters. sm

Did anyone see NightLine last night regarding students cheating on SATs. These students from wealthy parents go to a shrink and get a "subtle" learning disability diagnosis at a fee upwards of $2500 and get extra time to take the SAT. Hence, these students do not have a learning disability at all and with the extra time given to them because of this "subtle" learning disability, they get perfect scores.
I am so furious! I have a senior in high school, who scored very high on his SAT, 2100 - perfect score being 2400, in the time alotted. These cheaters get the perfect score and acceptance into the college of their choice.
I guess money can by anything? I am furious about this. Here we are, middle class working family, with a very bright and intelligent student, with high SAT scores, but will he get to go to the college of his choice? Probably not!! We teach our kids to do well in school, be a good person, and focus on your future. Where does that get them?
I guess we should teach them how to cheat and lie to get to the top!
Thanks for letting me vent - I am so angry!

Nightline had a special last night
on hospital infections and stated that basically, because of poor sterile technique by the hospital and hospital personnel, more than 80,000+ people would die this year from this condition.
The cost of taking care of one of these infections, caused by the hospital itself, is horrendous, well over $100,000 if you have to have an infected surgical wound treated surgically again. I finished my IV wonder drugs, not sure what that cost will be yet from the pharmacy and home health care, but I know that 1 vial of medicine used to unclog my IV was $800. My 10 day supply of Zyvox was $1100. I also had 14 days of IV Zyvox twice a day and 14 days of IV Levaquin once a day, so you can imagine what my bill is going to run. I will also have an addition bill from the anesthesiologist, the surgeon, the infectious diseases doctor, the hospitalist, radiologist, and who knows who else.
I really think the cheapo hospitals could dig up another few cents a line that could be paid directly to the MTs rather than cutting our rates all the time.
cheaters
Who cares..been there, done that..men cheat, it is jusf fact MEN CHEAT.and dont tell me your man wont cause he would..MEN CHEAT..Anniston needs to get over it..it hurts sure but MEN CHEAT..the only solution I have found is when you know your man is cheating either you cheat too or split..like I said..been there, done that..and probably will do it again..
cheaters
Now, now ladies. Just remember this....what goes around, comes around. My ex's girlfriend left HIM after 15 years. Of course it hurts....then you find out you're doing better without him.
That's a feeble excuse used by cheaters
who have a lack of self control to justify what they know is WRONG.
It all goes back to cheaters, no matter what the problem is. Sad. nm
