My Stepford DH....

Ladies, ladies, ladies, you're cracking me up !  I am married to a Stepford Husband right now (I mean he just returned from his vacation in Stepford).  He made a trip there after his journey to "unemployment-land" after his job was outsourced - AND OFF-SHORED thank-you-very-much...but I digress....

Anyway, count your blessings right now that your men have work-boots to drop at the door (and yes by all means leave them and don't say a word about it no matter how much it may bug you if you can stand it, or simply put them away, because it is wasted energy being honked off about the small stuff). 

My new Stepford, though, has been cleaning like a mad-man and even stood at the door, hand-on-hip with the "hairy-eyeball" (you know, the one eyebrow up and the other really low almost squinty) when my 12-year-old came in off of the bus and tracked mud on his freshly shampooed carpet.  CRACK UP !   If we could afford it, I would just keep him home to do all of the cleaning, cooking, laundry (my underwear were pink, but so are his now ! HA), running the kids around, etc.  My life has never run this smoothly.....I actually got a foot-rub last night in appreciation of the fact I have done all of this for years AND worked full-time hours. 

Anyway, ya don't know how good ya got-it til it's gone, but right now I'm enjoying my Stepford Hubby as long as it lasts....or until them dag-gone revenuers come for the house ! ....or until he finds another job....I'm not complaining either way yet...

I'm enjoying this thread....beats the heck out of all of the nit-picking and bashing that goes on back-and-forth around here.

Actually, it is quite opposite.  The previous board was for Stepford MTs - the type who agreed or got banned.  Now, the site is more open to expression/discussion, but in a respectful way.  I quite like it, actually.
