I have been thinking of you. I lost a beloved pet on April 27th and am still devastated. I searched and searched on line for some solace and found two books, both of which I ordered and have found so helpful and validating. One is "When Only the Love Remains" by Emily Margaret Stuparyk and the other is "Blessing the Bridge; What Animals Teach Us About Death, Dying and Beyond" by Rita M. Reynolds. The book by Emily Stuparyk was particularly comforting; she chronicles her journey through the valley of the dark shadow of her grief to a place of acceptance.
I will continue to remember you and your beloved dog in my prayers.
