love to get some really nice hand/body lotion, either in their favorite fragrance or something scented from a specialty shop. They usually sell for maybe $18-20 and that's just too much $$ to spend on our own hand creams! Either that or scented bubble baths, soaps, etc.
I give things like that to my friends all the time and I have one friend who has now actually come to expect a bottle of her favorite lotion every Xmas. :)

What does gals mean? Is this slang or is this like saying girl friday or secretary or what? I have been referred to by this term quite a bit in the last year, so just wondering.

I think I get confused by it because I was thinking that "9 years ago" was referring to an experience and because the experience belongs to the person it would be possessive? I think I just put too much thought into it! lol! Nonetheless, I was getting it confused with forms such as 9 years' duration.

Absolutely nothing. They refused to provide Kathy with a clip from the show. She had drawings of the show, though, that basically showed Star Jones moving all the way to the end of the couch so as not to "catch Kathy."

I'm making all my x-mas gifts this year, and I bought some plastic bottles and to decorate them I would like to make them look "frosted" because I just think it looks better. I have looked high and low on how to do this, i'm making scented lotion and I could not find anything on the net. Would you guys know how to do this? Hope I get some answers, thanks!

On my way to a Bible study. When I arrived, the other gals there had no idea what had happened. sm
I couldn't even find the words to explain - it was a little after 9. I was listening to, like the poster below, Bob and Sheri (on my way to Bible study - go figure) and Bob and Sheri were in a mood I had never, ever heard before. Very solmen. Describing word for what what they SAW. I didn't even know they were in NYC.
Anyways, I had to pull over as I started bawling. My younger son had taken an accompanied minor flight just a few days prior to that out of Dulles, so this hit quite close to home.
Anyways, we heard while in our Bible study (we decided to meet and pray for our country) about the other flights, but not flt. 93. We heard about that when our local newspaper (a giant) had people walking around McDonalds handing out FREE newspapers around 12 o'clock with pics and everything. The last time that newspaper did that was probably after JFK got shot. We were all scrambling for a paper which I still own to this day.
I remember my 9 year old son reading it in his room (I left it out like a dummie) and he cried like a baby for all those people on those flights who died. The WTC accident got to him the hardest. He still talks about it to this day. Tragic.
I don't know about you, but I do fear another attack like this again. It's hard not to.
You gals seriously make this kind of money? I am losing my job at the hospital
and thought I would never find a job that will pay that kind of money and its 14.50. I thought that was good!!!!! So you are telling me if I worked my tail off being an IC I could make more?? Break it down for me? How many hours a pay period, how many lines, how many cents per line?
I was actually regretting losing this job, but may be it is an opportunity.
I do love those younger gals though, the always pudgy ones in hip riders and too too tight tops.

You need to know if spaces are included, then ... sm
divide your character count by 55 based on the with spaces or without spaces. It should come out exactly as your company figures. With it being 55 characters, I would almost bet you are not paid for spaces. Are you dividing the number of words by 55 or the number of characters without spaces by 55?
You should be able to come right out and ask the company the formula they use; if its not something you can recreate in a word document to verify, they are cheating you somewhere.

What Dell probably met was that MsWorks includes a full version of MS Word. It's the less expensive way to get Word without having to buy Ms Office. The student version of MS Office cannot be upgraded, btw, so don't get that.

OMG... I feel even better now. I was looking at the back of the box and it said you need a AAA battery. Wow... I thought the sound was great before --- that was without the battery which I did not even notice because of the design of the headphones. Now, for the first time in 9 years working for MQ I am proud to say that I had to turn the volume DOWN. Too loud...hurt my ears...ooww. LOL Glad I was able to exchange my MQ stock for something useful... a pack of 2 AAA batteries for my new headphones.... Life is good.

don't care to discuss what they make. Why should we? It is such an individual thing and based on so many factors that is is impossible to draw any meaningful conclusions.
The type of work, as well as the MTs experience, ability to research effectively, retention and overall knowledge and intelligence, self-discipline (and much more) are variable, to say the least.
What others make is totally irrelevant to what someone else may make.

I so respect QA because they usually fill in all my blanks and I sometimes am in AWE of just how they do that when I relisten to all blanks several times. My one QA lady also I absolutely think is the best because she communicates so well with us.....and seeks us out to do just that and give us feedback.
Next year, I'll bet, they WILL honor QA!!!!!!! (if I have anything to say about it!!)

Just got back on a Timeshare trip - cost - 200 and included 3 nights hotel
and tickets to a bunch of free stuff! It was fun. Was it worth it? I am not sure! We got hounded pretty bad about 'buying a timeshare' but it was very affordable! Beautiful place too!
