an alarm clock.  A doctor I used to work for did the same thing in the bathroom too.  But, I never heard a plop! Thank Goodness.

We are trying to figure out how to get out of this screwy place without being screwed any more.

You can't make things worse and could make things better.
The skinny woman may be ill.  The guy might not know the dog is a nuisance.  Who knows?  Maybe it is not as forbidding as it seems and maybe they just need to be asked in a nice way.
the things we hear
When I worked inhouse for a local trans company, I used to do a local orthopedic surgeon and a few times, doing preop H&P's early in the morning, yes, he too would *pass flatus*, LOL.  The things I have heard over the years!
things we hear
I have one doc that really po's me.  He mocks the patient, like talking in hillbilly using their slang or Indian or Hispanic...just makes me furious that he's that disrespectful and to top it off, went to the hospital web page, looked him up and he does not have any grounds to make fun of anyone by his looks..........can you say he look's like a slob, needs to have his teeth cleaned and comb his hair..ughhhhhhh
Thanks for the updates, glad to hear things
are going well for you. Go to church together, even if you split. Life can get better. God bless!
Wonderful! So nice to hear good things like this!

Woo! Wow! little noises on this site....
I am hearing these little noises as well....I have heard 3 of them today on this website. I kept trying to figure out what was going on...so I kept checking my IM, but it definitely was a Woo or a Wow noise coming from this site!!!!
Very cute little sound if you ask me! :)
the mouth noises!!!
I hate it when they are sitting there thinking about what they want to say and are moving their tongue around in their mouth so it sounds like they are sucking or smacking!
Things that make you go hmmm....
I have been with my new company for a few months now and on Monday's payday I noticed they did not take out my insurance premium so I asked about it. Found out that usually twice a year we do not get insurance payments taken out in the last paycheck of the month, which happen in the months that we have 3 paydays because the premium is broken down into 2 payments. That got me to thinking about why my previous company did not do that, the one that I worked at for over 12 years. We are told we are going to pay say 500 per month or 250 per paycheck for insurance and yet the months where we got 3 paychecks, that would mean we paid 750 for insurance. Makes me wonder if my old company knew about this since that company has already been in trouble with their state for not taking out state taxes, getting in trouble for how they handled their 401k, etc. The things that make you wonder!
Those who are so insecure that they make things up are not blessed, however.

Wonderful, got it--I see now it does work here too to make things smaller
thank you, very kind of you to tell me. I've made eveything on this page smaller now. Muy bien. Happy typing.
Boy, does this dictator have a way of putting things to make sense.

A 24-year-old married Hispanic male who does not speak English but we used an interpreter for him during each session who has been married 6 times with 3 children.

i still use my fan even during fall/winter and turn it towards the wall but drowns out noises. nm
;
it does get easier and eventually things make sense to you even when you can't understand -
I was doing a Irish doctor, I could understand the medical terms pretty well, it was the easier, more normal words, I had trouble with.  Because of the lilting and very fast way he said it "three arteries and a vein" nearly drove me insane.
I wish you would not make a blanket statement about things you don't understand about taxes sm
When you are an employee and you are financially responsible for your office, the heat, the electricity, the space in your house, your deductions are nearly identical.

I'll give you this though: ICs frequently make a higher line rate than an employee, at least initially. So many employers are freezing cpl increases in favor of production incentives. My company did this and the incentives are excellent. I have gotten to where my line rate with the incentives is actually higher than any IC position I have ever held. I am going to do that many lines anyway and I am well ahead on all fronts.
tiny font
Something is wrong here. It sounds like this board shows up in huge font on YOUR end, but it is about an 8 font on my computer. The main board, job seeker's board, and compary board show up tiny for me, but the other boards look about 12-14 font, which is MUCH better!
I have that setup and may have tiny lag...
but its only a bit more than I had using wav pedal without Vonage. I do find the C-phone pedal to be a different cat from my wav pedal, though, and not very fond of it! Mine has gone psycho a few times and does its own thing, totally unresponsive to controls. As they aren't too expensive I may just replace it at some point with another used one and see what happens. If your C-phone is not new, you might cosider replacing the pedal to see if that helps. I have been told the pin-plug setup is very sensitive and easy to disrupt. Good luck!
What about those of us with tiny apts. - sm
either 1-bedroom or studio? On what we make, that's often all we can afford. If they want me to have a separate room or screened-off area for my workstation, they're gonna have to:
"SHOW ME THE MONEY"! (Or else do they mean I have to turn my tiny, 5-foot x 6 foot bathroom into a home office? I supposed I could fit a tiny little desk and a laptop in front of the toilet, and then sit on that to do my work.........
Sounds like tiny penis but not..lol

its not tinnitus, I have tried spelling tiniapitas

this has something to do with frostbite cold weather, HELP ANYONE

Stay tuned Tiny. It gets better.

My vet is teeny tiny. When she got pregnant with her last

baby she gained 60 pounds.   She probably weighs 98 soaking wet.   Anyway, her doctors put her on either Relacore or Cortislim and she lost the weight.   I have an overweight dog due to a disease and she said they are testing these drugs in dogs to see if it will help so I think there is some basis for it.  I took a drug similar that is supposed to block cortisol (can't remember the name, but it was cheaper) and it did help with my belly fat and soon I had to get new jeans because the ones I had  I had a handful of material on each side of stomach that hung down in my crotch area and it was very uncomfortable.  I even tripped once because I tried to step up over a low stone wall and there was so much extra material it constricted my leg movement and I wasn't able to lift my leg high enough.

I am an emotional eater but I don't have problems with an overactive appetite, meaning I'm not ravenous all the time, never have been.

I've just heard a tiny bit, but...sm
apparently Fusion also offers a transcription platform. I was just trying to see if there might be some comments on that. I appreciate your response.
Verbatim is verbatim, but I defintely to the little things to make the doc look better such as..sm
an eye problem instead of a eye problem.  I definitely wouldn't change too much.  Stick with what they say and only make changes when you absolutely think it is necessary.  I took a test last night and have an interview today and this is what I did.  FYI, I do clinic work.
The font is very tiny for me. It never used to be this way. It suddenly occurred and nothing I do

for sleep, trazodone is better. It's an old antidepressant that's not really good for anything other than putting you out. However, if you need to wake up in the middle of the night (small children, etc.) you can pop right out of sleep and it doesn't have the hangover effect like benadryl or Xanax. So maybe ask about trying that. And I know, maybe I spelled trazodone wrong but I don't have my spellchecker on this board LOL!

After 15 years of being treated for depression on and off, and severe anxiety, I finally found a wonderful therapist. He got me out of a chronic low grade depression without any antidepressants AT ALL which I would have bet could not be done. So maybe think of that, too?

one of mine is tiny - nearly died from renal
failure last year - and in the process of trying to get weight on him and leaving food down his brother is up to a whopping 17 pounds now - he would give me lower extremity circulation problems!!
The tiny lettering was difficult for me to see and no pictures! LOL sm
I'm kidding about the pictures.

Do you think its handier to have the book on your desk or the program at the click of a mouse? Thanks for your reply!

What colors ....Any corvette is great but that stang is it
cars
I leased for 3 years and then bought a brand new one! Love the concept, that way I knew exactly what i wanted to buy!
My cat veterinarian authorized us to use cat Frontline on our 5-pound tiny toy poodle
She said it goes by size and he's the size of a small cat.
Dog chasing cars
I have a little pomeranian. She is only little in size. In her doggy mind, she is a big bag dog and no car is too big for her. In the car, she will bark at big trucks, I am talking semi's like they better not mess with her. It is really funny to see. She also barks at her reflection. I sometimes feel like barking at my reflection too, so that we have in common. Your dog sounds great.
Cars on EBAY
I live in Georgia and already, drowned cars from Lousiana and Miss. are showing up as "good buys". Beware, once these cars are cleaned up, you will NEVER know they've been submarines in earlier lives. On the other hand, my son bought an awsome Audi out of Tampa, but that was before the hurricaines.
teens and New Cars

Yes, there are probably a few nice new cars the "sweet 16's" had given to them, more so probably out of the guilt the parents felt for not spending time with them or the parents need to "keep up" their own status.  My niece was one of those....daddy bought his little girl anything she snapped her fingers for, she is 23, never went to college or held a job, but has a masters degree in partying and shopping. It's finally wearing thin on ol Pops and he gripes and complains but he set the standard the first time he gave in.  Kids may not like you right now, but they will appreciate it more so when it's their hard earned money and feel a sense of accomplishment.

On the other hand, my kid who is 20, is still driving a used car and he now knows the benefit of it after 3-4, 5...can't even remember the count minor fender benders, no injuries except to his pride!

Teens are just learning how to drive, insist of driving with the damn cell phones to their ears and minds on anything but the roads, and as I put it, why take something brand new and bang it up?  Save it till you have more experience, more of your own money and your insurance rates are lower.  If my kid and his friends had stock in Maaco, they'd be young millionaires by now!

Remind her of that old saying, which I heard a zillion years ago when I was a teen "people in h _ _ _ want ice water but they don't always get it

Story about cars

My ex and I were divorced when my son was 11.  We lived in the country so in order for my son to even get a job, he needed a vehicle.  I bought him a used truck for about $2,000 which was all I could afford.  It was a stick and he had a lot of trouble driving it.  He was responsible for the gas and the insurance.  When he graduated from high school, his dad gave him a card with a professionally made gift certificate in it that said "Good for one vehicle of choice."  He even had it notorized and signed by an employee of a car dealer.  He gave him the card at his graduation party in front of everyone so he (the dad) could look important.  After the party, he called my son to tell him that that did not mean he could go out and buy a Corvette or anything like that.  To make a long story short, when it came time for my son to get his car, he wasn't allowed to pick anything that he wanted, his dad decided on the vehicle, color, extras etc.   I do not think we owe are kids a car though, just could not help sharing my story.

hybrid cars--anyone have one?

I'm looking to purchase a new car soon and being as how gas is already at $3 per gallon where I live, I'm certainly wanting to get something economical.  I've been doing some research on the hybrid cars and am particularly interested in the Toyota Prius, as that one seems to be the best according to what I've found.

I'm just curious....Do any of you MTs have a hybrid vehicle and/or know someone personally who does?  If so, do you like it?

So do you do that a lot? You own a big house? Have nice cars?

Wow! I just looked outside to see five cop cars parked

i use GM mastercard w/rebates on new cars.
We have saved something like $8000 over last 10-12 years in rebates. We put most everything on there, gas, groceries, etc and it adds up. But we only have one card and pay it off every month too, so not sure about interest rates, etc. Can go to gmcard.com and see if it works for you.
Ever had a dog that "chases" cars "in the car?"
We just adopted a dog last month from the SPCA.  She's a great dog, very young but past puppyhood, spayed,  housebroken, sits, stays, everything you couuld ask for when getting a "used dog."  BUT.... We've discovered that her hobby in the car is sitting by the window until a car passes and then "chasing it."  She will take breaks and lay down and sleep for a while, but then gets back to her hobby.  When we leave her in the car, she just sleeps, so she's basically a pretty good passenger other than the chasing.  Anybody ever heard of  this before?
I have leased 2 cars and have never had a bad experience. (sm)
Presently I lease a Trailblazer. No down payment, payments of $448 a month including an additional rider I chose for wear and tear coverage. 5 year lease. I can turn it back in 18 months early if I choose to. It's a nice way to get a higher end price car for lower payments.
There you go, lets have a thread about old cars!!!
yeah.
I was joking, cause the poster I responded to made a HUGE typo in a tiny sentence!
would like to believe, MYSELF included! Lighten up!
