Well, I had been keping up my end actually. I had a problem with a storm in my area that evening and just had no way possible to send my work in on time. What surprises me is that she let me keep on. It would have been less of a surprise if she would have just said, hey, I can't keep you anymore because of this. She led me to believe that I could still work for her even after that happened and then go all week sending me work and I would do it and get it in on time. I apologized and then she sent me more, so on my end, I thought everything was fine. Wouldn't you? Would YOU have been less surprised if you got fired the day your work was late? I know I would have.

        I know other IC's who make it part of their contracts that if they are being let go, sm - Just an FYI
- IC means if you don't keep up your end of contract - you can be let go
