Not too long ago I got an envelope (sm)
in the mail addressed to a lady named Laurie. My last name as 5 letters, her last name had 11 letters. My house number is 1002, her house number is 1002, my street starts with Wil and her street starts with Wil. The only problem was she lives in Washington state and I live in South Carolina!!
This would put me over the edge
It's depressing enough to be looking. It sounds like this HR person needs a lesson in reality. I would surely look elsewhere or you will "label" yourself. Please think about it first and keep looking. This is an insult.

to say the least and many of us are probably going to be forced to leave a company we have enjoyed due to that fact, but never at any time have I been treated unfairly or unkindly there. We should all act like the professionals we claim to be.

You are not a horrible person.
Do not be so free to give your business information out to anyone - it will cost you in the long run. It is a good business decision.
I needed way too much SJW to take the edge off. Wasn't cost effective for me. nm
