Mom

I don't know what type of relationship you have with your Mom, but have you thought of perhaps going out to dinner together every so often - just the two of you? Sounds like she is reaching out to you for some time with you - maybe lonely? My Mom died when I was in my 20's (I'm now 64), and I'd give anything to be able to spend time with her. Perhaps if you called her and invited her for a dinner date on a weekend every so often or just time together browsing a shopping mall, whenever it was convenient for you, she would not keep interrupting you during the day. Just a thought.
As a side note - I have voicemail, and my grown children, husband, and grandchildren are still oblivious to the fact that I "do not" answer my phone while I am "working" - which I have been doing from home since 1993!! I will admit that if hubby calls, I usually pick up, but other than that I reply to my voicemail's either during lunch, a break, or when I'm done working. Keeps me from pulling my hair out :o)
