It's a Radiology platform that is Word-based. You have to use a C-phone or Lanier separately to connect to a dictation line. IMHO, if you are in a queue that has a different doc each report, versus the same doc for about five reports, then Misys takes some getting used to; you have to click on about four things to change the doc. You also have to jot down the Accession or MR# for C-phone/Lanier to input into Misys to bring up what you want. The great thing is that you can easily link/associate reports, i.e., hand and wrist - with one mouse click. Also, it has lots of ways to avoid using the mouse to help speed things up. Once you find a process that works to jot down the Acc/MR #, get to the doctor, back to the exam, etc., it's great! And if you can get an account lead that will assign several of the same docs to each MT at one time, it's even better and quicker.
Hope this helps.

Misys, compatible shorthand programs
Does anyone know if ShortHand or InstanText is compatible with Misys? If not, are any other 'shorthand' programs compatible?
