What the heck happened there? Was that a song of his? He was awful. Poor Kat...she just isn't getting a break, is she? 
Meatloaf was awful, he must have problems.
I didn't think Tony Braxton did that well either with Taylor. It almost looked like she was lip-syncing and (IMO) I though she acted like a drag queen. It just wasn't good.
All in all though, the Idols sounded great last night! WAY TO GO TAYLOR!!!

Ranch Turkey Meatloaf Recipe
I don't know about you...but I get sick of the same old thing for dinner...uggghhh Try this...last night my family was the trial and gave the verdict....mmmm..mmmm...good....ENJOY
Ranch Turkey Meatloaf
2 eggs
3/4 c. of ranch flavored tortilla chips (crushed into small pieces)
3 Tbsp. Salsa (I used mild...depends on how spicy you like things)
2 Tbsp. Ranch Salad dressing...(I only use Kraft...but I am sure you can use any other kind of Ranch dressing)
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 lb. ground turkey
Mix all the ingredients together....until you get a meatloaf consistency. Then put into a baking dish and bake @ 350 degrees for one hour. Serve this with salsa and sour cream (strictly your preference) but dipping in the salsa and sour cream just enhances the turkey loaf... ENJOY!!!

Hubby doesn't, so I only cook it when he's gone. (Which is never, lately! LOL)
I saw Meatloaf a couple years ago on a news show and...
he looked GREAT. I guess he had had a heart attack and had lost tons of weight and was taking care of himself. Apparently he's back on the McDonalds because he looked very heavy and not well at all. Too bad. He used to have a great sound back in the day.

I DO give baked goods/sweets about 4 times a year to my private MD offices. However, I NEVER score an account that way. I go in with myself and sell myself and not with any baked goods. *lol*
so easy to make your own baked chicken and tastes better.
Just wash a whole chicken (clean inside, as well) Then salt inside.
Put it breast-side DOWN on small baking rack in shallow baking sheet (I line the pan with foil first), bake at 350 for 30 minute, then turn the bird over onto its back (drain the cavity when you turn it over, put those droppings in the bottom of the cookie sheet). Bake for another hour, turn over (and drain cavity again) for 15-30 minutes, and then turn back on its back for a little longer. I do put some foil over the bird for the first hour or so just to save splatters on the oven. With whole chicken at 69 cents a pound, you just cannot get an cheaper, easier meal than this.
My version of fried chicken is baked! I NEVER fry anything! YUCK!

DH is BBQing chicken, potatoes, and zucchini.
Just peel and slice the potatoes thin and
then deep fry them. Really simple. Season after with salt or Lawry's season salt. Yum!
Roast, potatoes, and carrots in the crock pot...yum!

The Betty Crocker Cookbook I have has a good recipe, comes out exactly like my mother's of year's ago. I thought I would never smell that smell again! Have to follow the recipe almost exactly, and let cook long enough, yummy.

Pasta salad
I am making this as we speak.
1lb box rotini pasta
add 1 bag frozen vegetables at the end of cooking time. Your choice. I use California mix, broccli, cauliflower, carrots.
Drain and cool.
When cool add 1 bottle ranch dressing, or pepper ranch, or Italian dressing. Any kind of dressing will do.
Add 1 can sliced olives. Sometimes I add artichoke hearts chopped up, sometimes some pepperoni chopped.
Mix well and chill well. Just before serving I mix in about a 1/4 cup grated cheese.
Delicious.
